What types of therapy do you offer?
I provide evidence-based psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families. My approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), along with other treatment modalities tailored to each client’s needs.
What is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)?
CBT is a structured, goal-oriented form of therapy that helps individuals identify and change unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior. It is highly effective for addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, and behavioral challenges.
What is SPACE, and how does it work?
SPACE is a parent-based treatment designed to support children, and adolescents with anxiety or obsessive-compulsive behaviors. It focuses on helping parents reduce accommodations and respond supportively, even if the child is not directly involved in therapy. As a SPACE-trained therapist, I guide parents in creating meaningful and lasting changes in their child’s emotional well-being.
Do you work with children and adolescents?
Yes. I offer therapy for children and teens, addressing a range of concerns including anxiety, behavioral issues, school-related stress, and emotional regulation. My approach is developmentally appropriate and designed to build trust and engagement.
Do you offer family therapy?
Yes. Family therapy can be beneficial when families are facing communication difficulties, conflict, or stressors that affect the family system. I work collaboratively to strengthen relationships and support healthier dynamics.
How long are sessions?
Sessions are 45 minutes in length. The frequency and duration of therapy depend on each individual’s or family’s needs and goals.
Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?
Please contact me directly for current availability of in-person and telehealth (virtual) sessions.
Do you accept insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider. I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
